CPP Earnings Ceiling up for 2004

The Canada Customs and Revenue Agency has announced that maximum pensionable earnings under the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) will go up to $40,500 in 2004 from $39,900 in 2003. The basic CPP tax exemption for individuals will stay at $3500.
