Regulation of Canadian Immigration Consultants

For years we've heard stories about immigration consultants who engage in people smuggling, issue fraudulent documents, make unrealistic promises and charge exorbitant fees. A new organization is now being put in place to regulate Canadian immigration consultants and provide some consumer protection to immigration and citizenship applicants who choose to use consultants.
