Sheila Copps on Stage

Never one to keep a low profile, former Liberal MP Sheila Copps takes to the stage starting October 7 in a Kingston, Ontario dinner theatre production of "Steel Magnolias." CTV reports that Copps will use a southern drawl playing Clairee Belcher, the role Olympia Dukakis played in the movie. The four-week run of the play will keep Copps busy until her autobiography is released October 25.
