Canada Day Checklist

Canada is having another birthday on July 1, marking the anniversary of Canadian Confederation in 1867 and the birth of Canada as a nation. In "Try the Maple Test", Winnipeg Sun columnistTom Brodbeck pulled some sample questions from the Canadian citizenship test to see how well his readers would do. In today's column Brodbeck says that people who contacted him had trouble with many of the questions.

You don't have to be a Canadian history buff to have a good time on Canada Day, but it's useful to know a few of the basics. This Canada Day Checklist should help you celebrate.
