Canadian University Tuition Fees 2006-07

The average tuition fees for Canadian university undergraduates in the coming school year will be $4,347, up from $4,211 in 2005-06, according to Statistics Canada. The agency says university undergraduate tuition fees are up in six provinces this year, although the change in Quebec is minimal. The biggest increases are in Prince Edward Island, with an increase of 6.5 percent, New Brunswick with 5.8 percent and Ontario with 4.6 percent. University tuition fees have stayed just about the same in the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
