Take Your ID When You Vote in Ontario

Wednesday October 10, 2007
The polls are open until 9 pm EST and 8 pm CST today for the Ontario provincial election and referendum. If you're eligible to vote, be sure to bring proof of identity with you when you go to the polling station. If you're already on the voters list, you will need to show proof of identify to get your ballots (one to vote for an MPP and one to vote in the Ontario referendum on electoral reform). If you're not already on the voters list, you can get on it by applying when you get to the polling station if you can show both proof of identity and proof of residence.
