It's crunch time for taxes. The deadline to file your 2007 Canadian income taxes is midnight Wednesday April 30. Even if you don't owe taxes, in some cases it's the only way you can claim certain government benefits. Even with the extension to May 6 for Netfile and Efile users, if you owe the government money for your 2007 taxes you still have to pay it by midnight April 30 to avoid penalties. Online banking or telephone banking are your best bets at this point.
