National Register of Electors

Definition: The National Register of Electors is a database of information on Canadians who are eligible to vote in federal elections in Canada. It contains basic information on eligible voters - name, address, gender and date of birth. Canadians can choose whether or not to have their names listed. The National Register of Electors is used to produce preliminary voters lists for Canadian federal elections and referendums.
