Stornoway

Definition: Stornoway in Ottawa is the residence of the Leader of the Official Opposition in Canada. The residence is owned by the National Capital Commission.

Stornoway was built in 1914 for Asconio J. Major, an Ottawa grocer. It was later owned by the Perly Robertson family and named after their ancestral home in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
