An entrepreneur and promoter, Dennis Mills, former Liberal member of parliament for Toronto-Danforth, has been involved in the organization of several large-scale policy-driven events in Canada.
Dennis Mills was one of the main organizers of the Rolling Stones concert in Toronto aimed at helping revive the city's tourism and entertainment industry from the impact of SARS. About 450,000 attended the event in July 2003.
In the summer of 2002, Dennis Mills was the national representative for the Canadian government for World Youth Day in Toronto which was presided over by Pope John Paul II.
Starting in 1999 Dennis Mills organized events for the Family Farm Tribute to recognize the contributions of Canadian family farms.
