About Christine Nesbitt
Canadian speed skater Christine Nesbitt has had a good 2009 and is coming into her own just in time for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. She is lining up to be a speed skating medal contender in the 1000m and 1500m events as well as in the team pursuit. Nesbitt, who grew up in London, Ontario, started out as a short-track skater and got to the national levels, but switched to long-track skating in 2003 at the age of 18.
