About Brad Wall:

A good communicator, Brad Wall started with the Progressive Conservatives before moving to the Saskatchewan Party. With Brad Wall as leader, the Saskatchewan Party moved from right wing to centre, although Wall refers to it as "mainstream." While the NDP accused Brad Wall of being a wolf in sheep's clothing, he positioned himself as a casual, friendly, football-loving family man with voter-friendly policies. He led the Saskatchewan Party to victory in the 2007 Saskatchewan provincial election.

When the 2011 general election rolled around, things were looking good for Brad Wall. The Saskatchewan economy was booming, unemployment was low, people were coming back to the province, his government had balanced the budget four years in a row, and he had taken a statesman-like stand against a hostile takeover attempt of Potash Corp., and won. In the 2011 election campaign he was careful to keep promises modest. The 2011 Saskatchewan election results gave Wall and the Saskatchewan Party a second, and larger, majority government and the party got more than 64 percent of the popular vote, setting a record in Saskatchewan.
