Yukon Premier Pat Duncan

About Pat Duncan:

In the 2000 Yukon territory election, Pat Duncan became the first Liberal premier of the Yukon and the territory's first woman premier. After the defection of several Liberal MLAs, Pat Duncan called an election in 2002, and was the only Liberal to retain a seat in the Yukon Legislative Assembly. She was replaced as Leader of the Yukon Liberal Party by Arthur Mitchell in 2005. Pat Duncan did not run in the 2006 Yukon general election.
