Definition: The Privy Council Office or PCO in Canada is a central federal government agency which provides non-partisan advice and support to the Prime Minister and Cabinet. The Privy Council Office also provides support to cabinet ministers in the Prime Minister's portfolio, such as the Deputy Prime Minister and the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons.
