Nunavut Voters Lists

Voters Lists for Nunavut Territory Elections

By Susan Munroe, About.com

Elections Nunavut maintains a list of all Nunavut residents who have the right to vote in territory elections.

If you are on the voters list, you will be sent a Voter Information Card no more than 34 days before Election Day. The Voter Information Card will show

  • your name and address
  • your constituency
  • the location of your polling station
  • the location of the advance poll
  • a toll-free number to call for more information

If information about you on the Voter Information Card is incorrect, you can make changes by calling your returning officer up to 28 days before Election Day.

If you are qualified to vote, you can still add your name to the voters list and make changes when you go to vote. Be prepared to show identification with your name, birth date and address.
