Who Can Vote in Manitoba Elections

Eligibility to Vote in Provincial Elections in Manitoba, Canada

To vote in a Manitoba provincial election you must be

  • a Canadian citizen
  • at least 18 years old before polling day
  • a resident of Manitoba for at least 6 months immediately before polling day.

You may not vote in a Manitoba provincial election if

  • you are the Chief Electoral Officer.
