To vote in a Nunavut election you must be
- a Canadian citizen
- 18 years old
- a resident of Nunavut for the year immediately before election day
You can not vote in a Nunavut election if
- there is a court order that says you do not understand your actions
- you are involuntarily confined to an institution as a result of having been acquitted of on offence under the Canadian Criminal Code by reason of a mental disorder
- you have been convicted of an offence under an election act in Canada in the five years before the election.
