To vote in a Prince Edward Island election you must
- be a Canadian citizen
- be at least 18 years old on or before election day
- have been "ordinarily" a resident of Prince Edward Island for a least 6 months immediately before the date of the election writ, and in the polling division on the date of the election writ.
You may not vote in a Prince Edward Island election if
- you are the Chief Electoral Officer
- you are a returning officer.
