Eligibility to Vote in Provincial Elections in Quebec, Canada

To vote in a Quebec election you must be

  • a Canadian citizen

  • at least 18 years old

  • a resident of Quebec for at least 6 months before election day.

You may not vote in a Quebec election if

  • you are under the protection of a curatorship (designated by law as being incapable of looking after yourself or your property)

  • you have been deprived of election rights due to offences committed under the Elections Act.
