Note 2/26/11: Due to the violence in Libya, the Canadian government advises against all travel to Libya. It also recommends that all Canadians in Libya should leave the country if possible.
The Canadian embassy in Tripoli has closed until further notice, and Canadian embassy officials have left the country.
